The Crossroads, Green Cove Springs newest Office Supply and Copy Center has expanded their services to the area business community.  With their acquisition of a KIP Wide-format Digital Imaging System, they can produce large copies, scans and plots of big documents up to 36” wide by virtually any length.  Dale and Pat Garlinghouse, owners of The Crossroads say, “Customers who bring us large paper documents or designs they have created on CD-ROM can have them copied or printed, enlarged or reduced, in any quantity and in full color if they want!”  Dale adds, “There are a lot of companies out there who have hundreds of old drawings they want to protect.  This system will allow us to scan those documents and save them on permanent media like CD’s and DVD’s.”

Purchase of the KIP Digital Imaging System was a major investment for The Crossroads.  Establishing the business in November 2005, Dale and Pat –also owners of River Park Inn, Bed & Breakfast near downtown Green Cove Springs and members of the Green Cove Springs Merchants Association – saw a need for a full service office supply company in their community.  “We could see that there is significant business growth in our area that was not being adequately served.  It quickly became apparent to us that in order for customers to have large documents printed, they would have to travel all the way to Jacksonville or St. Augustine.  At a time of high fuel cost and a need for rapid response it just made sense for us to invest in this new technology for use by our local customers.” Dale said.

Dale and Pat have also supplemented their new services with a wide-format, Color Inkjet Plotter.  This technology will allow customers of The Crossroads, to make full color enlargements of nearly any digital image from sources like digital cameras and design programs like Photo Shop®, Illustrator® and Corel®.  Dale offers, “We can accept most files sent to us via the Internet or brought in on a CD.  We can then print them and have them ready for pick up in a few hours.”
